J. Elizabeth Portraiture Pet Policy
As pet owners ourselves, we understand that dogs are an important part of your family! If you would like your dog to be a part of your portrait experience, we do require strict adherence to the following guidelines and rules.
- Pets must be on a harness or collar and leash at ALL TIMES with the exception of when they are being photographed. They are not allowed to roam the studio grounds without being on a leash.
- We require all families that come to the studio with 2 or more dogs to bring a friend or family member (who is not being photographed) to serve as a “pet handler”. We do not allow our clients to leave their pets unattended or in their vehicles.
- Pets that are too large to be in a hand held crate must be kept outside of the building with their handler until their portrait session has started. They are to be leashed and escorted in and out of the building when not being photographed.
- We understand that sometimes pets can shed their fur and kindly ask that you are mindful of this, as there are other families and children who will be passing through that may have allergies.
-We do not photograph pets alone without first photographing them with their owners.
-If you plan on grooming your pup before your session, please do so at least one day prior to your session to prevent shedding in the portrait.
- Any pet deemed to be unsafe by a member of our staff will not be allowed to enter. If you pet is not happy around other pets, children or people, please leave them at home.
- Pets are not to be on any furniture in the studio unless directed by the photographer.
We love pets, the above guidelines are for the comfort and safety of all of our clients as well your beloved fur babies.
